Meet at Rye House Gatehouse car park for a walk around the northern part of the Lee Valley Regional Park. (Follow A1170 from Broxbourne. after roundabout with A10, continue on A1170, at next roundabout take third exit into Duke Street, then left into Stanstead Bur Road and right into Rye Road.  Continue past Rye House Railway Station, and Rye House Gatehouse car park is on the left).

Meet in the car park of St Mary’s Church in Church Lane. Sheering  for a country and riverside walk. From M11 Junction 7 take A414 towards Harlow. Go straight over 3 roundabouts, at 4th turn right on B183 towards Hatfield Heath and Sheering. Keep on the main road into Sheering’s 30 mph zone. Keep straight on until, at the war memorial just before pedestrian lights and in front of The Cock pub, turn right into Church Lane. St Mary’s Church and the car park approx 400 yards on left. Toilets in the hotel part of The Cock, and lunch also available there if we book that morning.

Meet in Park View corner of Cock Lane (parking informal in either road)  for a circular walk from Barclay Park, Hoddesdon to Lucy Warren open space.. Approx four and a half miles, uphill to start, some woodland and farmland.Toilets at start of walk,  some uphill on return leg.

Meet Weald Country Park, Visitor Centre Car Park (car park fee £2)  From M25 Junction 28, on roundabout take second exit the A1023 towards Brentwood and turn left onto Wigley Bush Lane. This meets Weald Road in South Weald village, turn left.  The visitor entrance is a short way down Weald Road on the Right. Toilets at start, also in other parts of the country park. Café at the visitor centre, pubs in South Weald village.
