Meet Hainault Forest, in the “Camelot” car park. Opposite the Miller & Carter pub/ restaurant which used to be called the Camelot. A forest walk through the old hunting grounds of British kings, and onto the open spaces of the Country Park. From Chigwell Row at the traffic lights at top of hill at Maypole pub, turn right onto B173 (Lambourne Road) towards Lambourne End and Stapleford Abbotts. After approx 2 miles you will see Miller & Carter Steakhouse on left, car park on the right.  Sorry, no toilets before the walk.

Meet Broxbourne Common car park, Baas Hill. Drive north on A10 take turn for Turnford/Broxbourne A1170, at the end of the link road turn left at roundabout into Turnford High Road A1170, go through next roundabout to next roundabout, turn left into Bell Lane, continue up hill, cross mini roundabout, road goes over A10, take the next opening into Broxbourne Common car park.  If you come via Nazeing turn left at Broxbourne traffic lights and continue to the first roundabout, turn right into Bell Lane.  Circular walk along two rivers at Broxbourne (Lea and New), first quarter mile over fields, then through Wormleybury to Wormley Cross, A1170 down to River Lea, along tow path to Broxbourne Mill Meadows.  Coffee stop, then back to car park via New River Path.  Mostly flat walk four and a half miles.
