Meet New Farm Drive, Abridge. Parking informal. Walk from Abridge to Lambourne and the Church through woods and fields. 1 or 2 stiles. Afterwards for those who want we could go to the Victoria pub for lunch in Theydon Bios.  From A110 Kings Head hill in Chingford take left turn into A1069 Station Road and go to the T junction at the end of this road. Turn left on to the A104 Epping New Road towards Epping. Go over the roundabout at the Robin Hood pub and continue to the next roundabout. Take the third exit out of this roundabout onto the B172 to Theydon Bois and Abridge - continue on this road through Theydon Bois up over the railway bridge and on to the T Junction in Abridge. Turn left onto the A113 Ongar Road after approximately 1 mile turn right into New Farm Drive. Go approx. 200 yards along this road then park. We will meet at the footpath sign on the left hand side of the road approximately 200 yards along this road. Hopefully not muddy in August!

Meet High Beech (park in Kings Oak car park) for an important walk to the famous Waltham Abbey, 950 years old this year. They are having events through the course of this year so our small effort of a LVF walk is something which should not be missed. Toilet and coffee stop.
