Meet  in Nursery Road  (by junction with Warren Hill) Loughton, for a beautiful Epping Forest ramble where we will go deep into the forest to see the outstanding 'Kates Cellar' and, full of endeavour, the leader will do his utmost to locate the awe-inspiring 'Lost Pond' (bring sleeping bag and torch!).

Meet for a pleasant country walk in Thundridge. Take the A10 north to Thundridge, go through Thundridge towards the twin village of Wadesmill, across the bridge over the River Rib and turn sharp left at The Anchor Pub into B158 towards Hertford and park at the back of the pub car park. Steep hill at the start for about 50 yards otherwise comfortable walking. Sorry, no toilets at start!
