All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no

exception.  In spite of the safety of members being the paramount concern, accidents will

occasionally occur.  It is important, therefore, that when entering into activities each member

appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards associated with the activity and

take reasonable steps to eliminate or minimize the potential for an accident to arise.

Although walking is a very low risk activity you are responsible for your own safety when walking

including crossing roads and railway lines.  Walkers join in these activities at their own risk.

The Ramblers will not accept liability for any accident which may occur.

Please check directions given on how to get to the start of a walk.  We try to be accurate but mistakes do occasionally happen.
